On Friday, May 23, former Chippewa Falls High School standout Morgan Wirtz’s current collegiate team the Saint Mary’s Cardinals won 7-1 against the UW Whitewater Warhawks in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.
The game took place at Saint Mary’s Softball Field at 3:30 p.m. and was the third matchup against the UW Whitewater Warhawks in the tournament.
The Saint Mary’s Cardinals’ next game will take place on Thursday, May 29 at 1:30 p.m. at Inspiration Field.
