On Sunday, April 27, former Elk Mound High School standout Carter Vieth’s current college team, the UW Eau Claire Blugolds, lost 5-4 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the UW – Platteville Pioneers.

The game took place at Kendall Murray Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Pioneers this season.

The Blugolds’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 30 at 2:30 p.m. at Mark Almli Field against St. Olaf Oles.
