Blugolds women’s golf team achieves strongest season finish at UW-Stout invite

The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women’s golf team concluded its season with a strong performance, finishing fourth at the UW-Stout Spring Invite. The event took place at Tanglewood Greens in Menomonie, Wisconsin, marking the team’s best finish of the season.

The Blugolds shot a collective 52 over par, with UW-Stout and UW-Whitewater leading the team leaderboard at 32 over par.

Notable performances included Gillian Johnson and Lilly Kaminski, who tied for ninth place with individual scores of 81. Elizabeth Hermann and Bri Novak scored 87, tying for 31st place. Riane Hayden finished in 51st place with a score of 94.

Overall, the Blugolds ended their season noting improvements, with Sunday’s tournament being their best finish among the four tournaments featuring 10 or more teams.
