Three players from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women’s lacrosse team have been recognized with All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) honors for their performances in the 2025 season. Reegan Werner, a junior from Farmington, Minnesota, was named to the first team. Ellie Fisher, a sophomore from Stillwater, Minnesota, and Alexandria Shea, a senior from Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin/Indian Trail, received second-team honors. Additionally, Devon Crews earned an honorable mention.
Werner’s achievements this season include setting new Blugold records for single-season points (73), shots (106), ground balls (53), and caused turnovers (39). She scored 45 goals and made 28 assists. Her performance against Edgewood on March 7 set program single-game records with nine goals and 12 points. Werner concluded the season as UW-Eau Claire’s all-time leader in career points with a total of 172.

Fisher achieved all-conference recognition for the first time following her strong attacking play. She recorded 40 goals and contributed 15 assists for a total of 55 points — marking the fourth-best single-season total by a Blugold. Her seven-goal game against Augustana on February 22 ranks as the third-best single-game effort in program history. Fisher also set a record with five game-winning goals in one season.

Shea earned her second consecutive All-WIAC second-team honor as a goalie by setting a new single-season record with 153 saves this year. She posted a .478 save percentage and had an average of 12.22 goals against per game. On April 23 against UW-La Crosse, she tied the program record with 17 saves. Over her four-year tenure as starter in net, Shea has become UW-Eau Claire’s all-time leader in every goaltending statistic.
Crews contributed significantly to the team’s success by scoring 33 goals and making 17 assists for a total of 50 points this season — ranking third on the team this year. Her nine free position goals are notable as they are among the highest ever recorded by a Blugold in one season.
The Blugolds ended their season with an overall record of 11-7 and were runners-up in the WIAC Tournament for the first time.
