In the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) matchup, the Titans emerged victorious in the first game with a 5-1 win and followed up with a 3-0 win in the second game.

UW-Eau Claire ended their regular season with a 27-13 overall record and a 7-7 record within the WIAC. Despite the losses, they secured the No. 3 seed for the upcoming WIAC Tournament.

In Game 1, UW-Oshkosh gained an early advantage by scoring three runs in the second inning, courtesy of two run-scoring singles. Paige Lathrop managed to bring a run in for UW-Eau Claire in the fifth with an RBI single, which marked their only score in both games. The Titans added two more runs in the sixth, securing their win.

Lauren Trottier pitched four innings in the first game, yielding three runs and achieving one strikeout. In Game 2, the Titans restricted UW-Eau Claire to only one hit, recorded by Lathrop in the first inning. A two-RBI double in the second inning put UW-Oshkosh ahead, with another run added in the fourth inning.

Kira Schubert was the starting pitcher for UW-Eau Claire in Game 2, working through 3.2 innings, allowing two earned runs and striking out one. Trottier provided 2.1 scoreless innings in relief.

Looking ahead, the Blugolds will start postseason play in the WIAC Tournament on Friday, May 9, facing off against sixth-seeded UW-Stevens Point at 2:30 p.m. in Whitewater. The tournament will follow a single-elimination format this season. The winner of the opening game will meet second-seeded UW-Oshkosh on Saturday, May 10.
