Five University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire student-athletes have been recognized with the Senior Scholar-Athlete award for the 2024-25 season. This accolade is given annually to senior student-athletes who achieve the highest grade-point average.

This year, three female athletes tied for the women’s award. Ellie Andersen from Fergus Falls, Minnesota, a member of the women’s hockey team, along with Téa Armstrong from Blue Earth, Minnesota, and Morgan Dekan from Altoona, Wisconsin, both from the women’s tennis team, achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA.

For the men’s category, Harry Roubidoux of Winneconne, Wisconsin from the football team and Ethan Wurtzel of Menomonie, Wisconsin from the men’s tennis team both attained a GPA of 3.95.

The recognition underscores their academic excellence alongside athletic commitments.
