Alyssa Wirth, a former Altoona High School standout now playing for the Ferris State Bulldogs, is set to compete in the Division II NCAA Basketball Tournament.

Ferris State enters as the No. 2 seed and will face the No. 7 seed UMSL Tritons in the opening round.

The first game tips off Friday, March 13, at 2:30 p.m. at GVSU Fieldhouse.
