The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire’s men’s track and field athlete, Adam Strouf, has been named a first team Academic All-American by College Sports Communicators for 2025. The announcement was made on Wednesday.

Strouf is the first from the Blugold men’s team to receive this honor since 2012. This season, he claimed national titles in both indoor and outdoor shot put events and is ranked among the top four in UWEC’s history for these events. He also won two WIAC titles and was recognized as a USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week.

Academically, Strouf achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.86 while majoring in mathematics, statistics, and applied mathematics.

He becomes the fourth different Academic All-American from the Blugold men’s track and field team in seven seasons.
