On Tuesday, April 22, former Altoona High School standout Abby Smearman’s current college team, the Seton Hill Griffins, won 17-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Pittsburgh Johnstown Lady Cats.

The game took place at Pitt-Johnstown Softball Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Lady Cats this season.

The Griffins’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 25 at 2 p.m. at SHU Softball Complex against Edinboro Fighting Scots.
